"I spoke with them when I signed my contract and told them I was trying to hit Real Madrid, because that would be a good thing for Barca," De Jong told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
Ajax complained about the issue of football and received a fine from Sergio Ramos, who was sent off against Amsterdam.

De Jong urged his team to be brave, and they believe they can still weaken Madrid by losing their last three games at the Bernabeu, losing 1-0 to Barcelona 3-0.

"If everybody helps, we have enough quality to fall."
