Atletico Madrid are considering signing Joao Felix from Benfica for 126 million euros, the most expensive deal for the Spanish club's history.

Joao Felix is the fifth most expensive signing in the history of the club if he earns € 129m from Atletico Madrid to join Benfica.
Benfica are valued at 126 million euros ($ 143.16 million) for Portuguese striker Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid, according to the Portuguese club.
If the deal is agreed upon, the 19-year-old becomes the most expensive player in the history of Atletico, breaking the La Liga giants for a fee of 72m euros to sign Thomas Lemar winger AS Monaco last season.
"Atletico Madrid offered an offer for Felix sale of 126 million euros," Benfica said in a statement released by the Portuguese market.
Felix is the fifth most expensive signing in the history of history after Neymar, who won the record of £ 222 million from Paris St Germain for 2017, Kylian Mbappe (180 million euros), Philippe Coutinho (£ 142million [$180 million]) and Ousmane Dembele (105 million euros).
Felix netted 19 times for Benfica last season, including 15 league goals and three hat-tricks in the Europa League at Eintracht Frankfurt, making him the youngest player to win the competition.
