With its lush green forests and beautiful white sand beaches, it's no wonder that Belize is one of the most visited places in the Caribbean. If you are coming to diving, zipline, plumbing, or lying on the beach, due to the tropical climate, there really is no “right” time to visit.
This can seem confusing when planning a trip. That is why I am here to help.
While there is no right or wrong time to visit Belize, it depends on what you want to do and how much you want to spend. However, it will be one unreliable time!
Here are the best times to travel to Belize!
April to May
Gu & # 39; s the best time to visit Belize.
Come April, winter is over and the country is filled with spring and Easter visitors. The dry and warm weather has come, meaning if you love the outdoors, this is the perfect time for you.
You can spend the afternoon in the gym: canoeing, fishing, hiking, swimming, paddle boating, or enjoying the warm weather along the coast.
Easter is a very popular time to visit Belize so if this is in your travel plans, it is best to book in advance. Residents celebrate a wide variety of celebrations and holidays. In May, Punta Corda sees its annual chocolate celebration.
What's better than celebrating the smoke of beans with chocolate making ?!
June through August
Summer months begin the rainy season. However, this rain rarely goes on. It usually occurs in late summer only in the afternoon and evening.
July is the start of the storm season, although your chances of a storm are low so don't let that stop you from booking your trip. Because many people are afraid the storm will happen, you will find that you can negotiate for a hotel and maybe even a flight.
This is also a great time to see the ruins of the Mayans, for a walk through the jungle, and to wander through the villages of Belize without crowds.
If you like fish meat, June is the beginning of Belize lobster season. To mark the start of the season, the country holds a two-week festival in San Pedro, Caye Caulker, and the village of Placencia. We're talking about two weeks of lobster too!
In early August, La Costa Maya International, one of the most celebrated countries, falls. It starts with a beautiful look and then goes on for three days of live music, dancing, and scenes.
September to November
September to October is the height of the wet season, also known as the green season.
All the forests are lush and green, making it one of the most beautiful times to experience. Usually like summer, water bathing usually takes place in the evening so if you are not aware of a small shower at night then this is one of the best times to visit as it is considered to be low season.
Travel costs, hotels, and flights are the lowest, although some hotels are nearing repair during those months. Plan ahead and research your stay and you won't have any problems.
Don't forget to park near Independence Day in late September. In honor of celebrities and expensive athletes, this is one of the biggest events in the country.
They also spend Halloween pretty much.
Known as the Finados, the country celebrates the dead (from October 31-November 2) with prayer and gifts of similar food, such as Dia De Los Muertos in Mexico.
December to March
December is the busiest month in Belize, with people all over the world floating in warm temperatures to escape the cold. Many hotels are already planning Christmas and New Year's Eve so you will need to plan in advance if this is the perfect time to visit.
If you want to skip the holidays, January to March is calmer than December. However, don't expect it to be empty. As the rainy season is over, many people are still trying to soak up the Belizean sun.
If you can do something about the crowd, make the experience & # 39; Carnival & # 39; one of the things you write on the bucket. The country celebrates dresses, trails, and many songs and dances. It is really a once in a lifetime experience.
