Over the years, I have received numerous local advice, travel tips and travel programs in my favorite places around the world. So, not too long ago, I was encouraged to invite men to come on my planned trips!
The TBA Escapes was created to bring the most dangerous travel experiences, some of the world's largest travel blogs, to women traveling around the world.
Since I started my T & # 39; TBA Escapes & # 39; all female in South Africa in 2017, we embarked on new travels around the world – Jordan’s “Early Tourism”, the “Yacht Eco Expedition” in Galápagos, and “Tourism” in Morocco ”.
While in Jordan, the focus was on capturing the beauty of the country and teaching women more about photography!
The tour schedule was attractive, to say the least. We entered the city of Amman (the first Middle East place I have ever visited in 2012!), We went to the river Wadi Mujib, took a "floating" to the Dead Sea, saw the ancient beauty of the City of Rose in Petra, and dive into the Red Sea, and explore the historic Roman ruins of Jerash.

This collaboration has been very worthy of the lady, and it is my pleasure to carry on these journeys. Because photo tours can be expensive when you get new equipment, we have organized the unique opportunity for every participant to borrow a computer & # 39; Fujifilm X-Series & # 39; and sunglasses, at no extra cost!

The city of Amir
Amman is really the first place in the Middle East I visited (retold in 2012), and it will forever be a special city for me. On these trips, we would tour the amazing locations throughout the city, such as the Roman Theater, Amman Citadel, and Rainbow Street – we made memories!

And the food! I mentioned in my guide to the top ten things I do in Amman that cooking classes are a must – so that's exactly what we did. We prepared Arabic and Jordan as hummus and fattoush and learned from a local woman who founded Beit Sitti Cooking School (which means "my grandmother's house"). How cool!
Travel to Mujib
Canyoning in Wadi Mujib
Wadi Mujib is another interesting feature of Jordan's journey! Wadi Mujib Biosphere Reserve is home to 70km / 44 miles of sand, bounded by the Mujib River. It's one of the things to see in Jordan and you can "canyon" or skip part of it!
We preferred a large hike to the rivers, rocks, and watercourses with each other supporting each other and many ropes (of course, of course).
It was a real adrenaline thrill!
The Dead Sea is a great thing in a bucket when visiting Jordan! It is the salty sea on Earth and the lowest point on Earth.
A little “floating” in the Dead Sea, we covered it with Dead Sea mud (which is huge for your body)! We I was lucky to meet him both sunset and sunset.
It's a surrender feeling!

Run Rum + Oral Tents
Mars, I mean, Wadi Rum was the perfect place to organize a 4 × 4 guide – hello, dune safari! Rocky hills with dramatic views and caves were made once life photos that we were not able to resist.
Wadi Rum is one of the most beautiful hacks I've seen on my travels – and the land is different from anywhere in the world!
Beyond that, we had to leave the scene in the evening and stay in some of the "bubble tents," EVER! Eye contact and bad vision of the stars? Yes please!
Another bonus for being in a place that is not polluted by city lights? We worked on night photography ourselves and learned how to capture stars in Fujifilm cameras!

Rose town of Petra
One of the greatest things about traveling is to see the ancient city of Petra – and it truly is a traumatic experience!
We got to experience the "Petra Night", where you are trapped by local Bedouins, and dance to some beautiful traditional music. rababas.
And, we went to Petra for an entire day of exploration. We walked over 20,000 steps and spent about 6-7 hours inside the building. IT'S A GUY!
Petra is known as Rose City and it is easy to see why – it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The city can date back as much as 300 years ago but was not reproduced until 1812. It is truly a wonderful review of its past.
We explored the fascinating rock-and-roll of beautiful places like & # 39; Royal Treasury & # 39 ;, Amphitheater, and Monastery.
Acoustic and Red Sea
After a few days of drying in the wilderness, setting in the Red Sea is a much needed thing! We landed in a beautiful coastal hotel in Aqaba – a port city that was rebuilt 4000 years ago, and let me tell you, it is a drain!
We were on the water all day The & # 39; Dive Blue Dive Center & # 39 ;, PADI's 5-Star Dive Center, and arranged a private boat to explore the day. Water diving is one of the highlights of any trip for me and the Red Sea to a really nice place including shipping lanes, a drone, a warm-up, and even a burned tank! Sea life and exchange was good for SO beautiful. To the attendees of the certification we offered these two, and for those who have not yet tried diving, we were able to offer Discovery Dives so they could try it for the first time! It was magical for me to see the joy these girls had after their first dive!
It was a day of sunshine, salty water, and rest!

The Roman ruins of Jerash
Jerash was famous for owning the most beautiful city outside of Rome itself! Developed since the Bronze Age, the city of Jerash has an active history.
The damage was really amazing and in amazing condition, so we walked through the debris for a few hours and learned a lot. fun facts from the local directory.
TBA escapes Jordan's "wonderful first witnesses"
“Marriage trip to life! Thanks to TBA Escapes for helping me complete the # 1 Bucket, for visiting Petra, Jordan. Words can't even begin to describe how wonderful this trip was … it exceeded all my expectations! When I think of the week’s retreat with 15 amazing women exploring all corners of Jordan’s beautiful country, a constant smile on my face forms and goosebumps began to emerge. I can't even begin to choose my favorite … exploring Wadi Mujib, Jeeping in the Wadi Rum, and climbing over the Dead Sea, touring the entire Petra, bathing in the Red Sea … it was all wonderful! Thank you to everyone who made this trip so many trips I will forever cherish. Can't wait for the next trip! ”

This trip to Jordan at the TBA Escapes was truly a unique, enjoyable experience. The food, the views, the hospitality; everything was beyond my expectations. This is not just for tourism. It is the perfect combination for watching and touching inside. I never thought of traveling myself in the Middle East, but thanks to the TBA Escapes my dream turned out to be an amazing reality!
I had high hopes for my trip to Jordan at the TBA Escapes, and I can honestly say the experience was much more than I had expected. Every last detail, from arrival and departure, is arranged in a manner. I only saw things that I dreamed about, like the Dead Sea, Petra and Wadi Rum, and I made friends with incredible women. Our guides, Kiersten herself, Lauren and Reine, really liked it and made the trip even better. Jordan was a great introduction to the Middle East tour, and I look forward to making another appointment for TBA Escapes in the future! ”

"I've never traveled in a group (I usually like to travel solo!), So I was a little worried about joining a band. However, this experience was wonderful. I'm so happy to have gone, Kiersten. and the rest of the team repeatedly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable and cared for.I also was hesitant because this was advertised as a "photoshop" trip, that my expectations were unrealistic. high. (I just wanted to be satisfied with the use of my camera.) Fortunately this was not the case, Kiersten was a great teacher and I learned SO SO much. I traveled from the tour with more advanced, more advanced, and a new experience that I may not have to carry on my own.
