OYO has appointed Mandar Vaidya to be the manager of South East and West Asia

The welcoming company OYO Hotels and Homes said on Wednesday that it had appointed Mandar Vaidya to be the Chief Executive Officer of Southeast Asia and West Asia, starting August 1, 2019.

The nomination came as part of the company's ongoing acceleration in the growth of two of its potential markets – Southeast Asia and West Asia, OYO said in a statement.

Vaidya has more than 15 years of experience. He was responsible for driving the growth of OYO trade in these two regions, including markets such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, UAE, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

"We are thrilled to welcome the OYO family of Mandar as it & # 39; is responsible for strengthening OYO's presence in Southeast Asia and West Asia," said OYO Hotels and Founder & CEO Ritesh Agarwal.

These two markets are important to OYO's global expansion strategy, he added.

"Under Mandar's leadership, we look forward to developing strong relationships with property owners in those regions and are committed to our mission of delivering a welcoming and cost-cutting experience," Agarwal said.
